Chinese Language Programs in Hawaii
There is tremendous demand for Mandarin lessons in the business and Chinese
community. CIUHM has recently compiled lists of Chinese language classes
available in Hawaii for children as well as adults.

Mandarin Classes for Adults
Based on popular demand, CIUHM is going to offer a 2nd session of Mandarin
Classes for adults on Saturdays and Sundays starting April 26th. For details,

Chinese Immersion Language Sports Camp
for Youth
Thirty motivated high school students, ages 12-17, with no or minimum
experience in Chinese (any dialect) will be selected to participate in a
three-week residential program on the campus of the University of Hawai‘i Mānoa
to acquire basic listening, speaking, reading, writing, and culture skills in
Mandarin Chinese as well as martial arts and table-tennis. Date: July 7 - July
