EVENT RULES** (1) IYFR members have priority until RSVP deadline (2) Once the RSVP Deadline has passed, it will open to guests of IYFR members (up to 2 guests of IYFR members in good standing based on availability) and (3) If IYFR Members attempt to RSVP after the deadline and space are filled by non-members will be on wait list (no priority over non-members after RSVP deadline)
Second Wednesday of each month - Next Meeting March 9 2011 Officers' meeting scheduled for 9-14-11 at 5 PM is open to all interested members; agenda includes planned events for rest of 2011 and termination of Hawaii Fleet effective 7-1-12 as number of members and boats has declined so that fleet is no longer active.

IYFR Hawaii Fleet officers meeting at Waikiki Yacht Club (WYC) at 5:30pm on the second Wednesday of each month - all past fleet commodores are welcome - all officers and any other member who wishes to attend. One of the items to be dicussed is the Vasconcellos Race scheduled for 3/19/11 and how many boats we can get to enter in the crusing class ( no spinnakers). Please let me know if you wish to be a member of the crews we are currenlty organizing. There is a commitment to attend practice on 3/12/11 at 10 AM as well as the race for which time will be announced later. Aloha, Marda

Saturday September 17, 2011 5-8 PM at Kaneohe Yacht Club IYFR Hawaii Fleet invites all members to come to a potluck dinner. Contact Marda Phillips by phone or email (808-955-0015 or IYFRHawaii@gmail.com) to make your reservation; please bring your family and one Rotarian friend who might be interested in joining IYFR. Those whose last names begin with A-G bring a main course, H-L salad or vegetable, M-P pupus, and Q-Z desserts. Hawaii Fleet will provide beer, wine and soft drinks.

Honolulu Hawaii USA March 6 2010 - A tour of the Battleship Mighty Mo for members of IYFR and their spouses and significant others was scheduled for 9:30 on Saturday March 6th. The tour has been arranged by Sarah Tenney, Vice President of Development of the Battleship Museum and IYFR member. Lunch aboard was followed the tour.

Saturday - June 9, 2007 - International Yachting Fellowship of Rotarian (I.Y.F.R. Hawaii Fleet) - Change of Command at the Historic Lockwood Hall (Johnson Choi, Fleet Commander (2005 - 2007) handover to Richard Conradt, Fleet Commander (2007 - 2009). Prior to the Official Function, Mr. Daniel A. Martinez, Park Historian of the National Park Service provided Historic bus tour of Pearl Harbor and took up back to December 7, 1941. The HISTORIC Lockwood Hall Clean Sweep and Skippers' Lounge. Some locations include the Navy's location for Japanese Code Breaking, the first bomb hit on Ford Island, the window where Admiral Kimmel stood when a falling bullet hit him, where the opening scene for "In Harms Way" was filmed, as well as "John Wayne's house" in that same movie, a number of other seldom visited shore locations and a presentation of their soon to be constructed "shore-side" visitors center - Gerhart W. Walch, Fleet Commodore 1999 – 2001 and International Staff Commodore 2001 conducted the Change of Command Ceremony
